In 2016 I moved from Hot Springs, AR to Manitou Springs, CO. I rented a small cabin that was held together with bubble gum and duct tape (not really but you get the picture) just outside of Garden of the Gods at the base of Pikes Peak. In the winter, it got REALLY cold. And I'm not just talkin' about outside cold, I mean my cabin got REALLY COLD. So, I joined the local gym. I went just about everyday, worked out some, but I was mainly there for the STEAM ROOM! When COVID hit in early 2020, my gym closed the Steam Room and Sauna...UGH!
Well, you know what they say, necessity is the mother of invention, right? The silver lining of all that crap we had to go through during the Pandemic is that it lit a fire in me to put my Redneck ingenuity panties on and figure out how to create the steam shower experience in the comfort of my own bathroom. It took several iterations and a lot of experimenting but I finally figured it out....and DAMN, does it work great!
I'm 67 now, been STEAMING in my little cabin for goin' on 6 years and I don't have to drive to the damn gym to do it. I can steam anytime I want now by just walking into my cold ass bathroom!
The last time my daughter came out to visit me she said, "Dad, this little Steam Shower thingy you got goin' on is Killer. You could sell this!"
