Job Summary:

Operate commercial vehicles (over 26,000 lbs GVW) to deliver goods to customers and operations, and pick up materials from vendors and other sites.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate truck in various weather conditions
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Check fuel, oil, and inspect for safe operation before trips
• Secure or inspect loads for proper tie-down
• Follow all DOT, safety, and company rules
• Perform minor maintenance and keep vehicle clean
• Maintain driving logs and shipping documents
• Verify and collect customer signatures on delivery
• May operate forklift to assist with loading/unloading
• Participate in safety meetings and training
