Medlock's Trucking Inc. is a locally owned and operated transportation company based in Brunswick, Georgia, dedicated to providing reliable freight services. We’re currently looking for dependable and motivated CDL drivers to join our growing team. This is a flexible driving position with weekly pay that varies from $800 - $1,000. You'll be representing our company on the road while ensuring safe and timely deliveries. We offer Weekly pay (based on miles, route complexity, and load type), Consistent routes originating from Brunswick, GA, to the Savannah, GA port, providing a flexible driving schedule, Reliable, well-maintained equipment, Supportive dispatch and mechanical team to keep the truck maintained.
Responsibilities include Safely operating a Class A or B commercial vehicle, transporting freight locally and regionally, with occasional OTR routes, Load and unload freight as necessary (varies by load), Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain ELD logs, communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, routes, and deliveries, and ensuring compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Qualifications for this position are a Valid CDL Class A license, clean driving record and current DOT medical card, Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred, Ability to handle both short-haul and longer overnight trips, Strong communication and time-management skills, must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
In this position, you will be driving a 2015 Kenworth T680, auto endorsement.
